The kid is very good but I definitely agree with this. Especially with our fans Miles would have been/may be in a no win situation if one of the other guys (Randall or Rivers) turns out to be better. The first incompletion they throw or the first game they go under 200 yards passing the fans will be all over him for not playing Kiel.

So let me get this straight. You don't want a five star quarterback, with size and accuracy, because your concerned about fans complaining on a fricking message board?

Matt Barkley was a 5*, played better as a fr than soph. It will just piss me off since we held the last EE spot for him and it cost us Miller. That is not right. I hope he comes, but we will survive. Just been a rough week.

Where did I say I didnt want him? I want the guy to come to LSU at the same time I agree that its also a huge headache for the program considering our fans...those arent mutually exclusive things

No, its more like I am not going to cry that a kid changes his mind for what he thinks is best for him. LSU can recruit whoever the hell they want. 3 highly rated QBs on the roster. You don't need a 5 star guy to win.
If Kiel doesn't want to come here, I am not going to freak out. We'll just get another good QB next year. We have 2 years from Mett. Randall and Rivers will have been 3 years in the program by the time they are needed. It's a pretty strong position as it stands now.
