I sincerely hope this is a bad troll attempt.

And to the goobers that are questioning why we’re “late” on the offer, we aren’t. LSU (not just BK, but even previous staffs) takes extra time with LA kids before handing out offers.

You can speculate all you want on why that might be, so yes we are typically not the first to offer kids, unless they’re absolutely elite, but there is so much draw to LSU for in-state kids that it helps overcome in many cases.

Edit: a DB class of Anding, Antoine, Pickett/Brew, Jimcoily, Jhase, and one other would be VERY good.

I wish I understood LSU's offer process better. Why'd it take this long when there are no other in-state CBs around? Texas & Mami are closing in on this kid and crickets from LSU.

yet they will give & accept a commit from a RB no one is after despite there being tons of fall back RB talent in the state.

Maybe they are not really interesting in a CB that is 5'9.5" and weighs close to 150#

Obviously not a top priority if they are fine with schools like Texas and Miami making inroads into the young man's recruitment.

It's not a troll if it is true.

Coming from a guy who thinks he is a better talent evaluator than college coaching staffs.

That's rich.

I wonder if that means we’re out for Antoine

Lsu has exactly zero dbs committed.

Anyone know if lsu likes jabaree at corner or safety.

I see some teams want him as a safety.

Honestly his corner skills didn't blow me away at first glance.

Now dj Pickett is the real deal. He could excel at corner and safety. Long, smooth, athletic, with great balls skills.

I'd pay up for Pickett. Miami, lsu, or Oregon.

What you said was ignorant, not true

Maybe they aren’t interested in a guy they just offered? You sound frickin dumb. Sorry if I assumed you were trolling. I didn’t think you were serious

People’s ability to way overthink what one particular thing means shouldn’t surprise me but always does.

In what world would we possibly turn away from a top 100 in-state CB, just because we offered another? Silly.

Before it's all said and done, every LSU fan will be very familiar with this kid.
Just call it a hunch.

He's a baller. His dad and uncle were my classmates in high school. Dad was all state in everything in high school....a pure athlete. He's definitely a stud athlete and getting a guy who will give you 100%. I'm surprised it took LSU so long because Ole Miss and Arkansas were on him for a while.

ESPN has 10 four stars or better in Louisiana

247 has eight.

On3 has seven.

I know the talent level isn't decreasing, but the number of four stars is.

Five five-stars and 21 four or better in final 247 rankings in 2014 LINK
