They definitely have some D1 kids. But there are 133 schools in D1. People don’t realize what kind of athletes go to the top programs. LSU isn’t overlooking anyone in the state. If OCS had anyone lsu would offer.

They’ve had a few at LSU, Sol Graves, Rudy N, Eric Edwards, Jermaine Sharp

I used to believe that until Mark Laird didn’t receive an offer until he was already at LSU

They had Mark Laird that played baseball at LSU. Eric Edwards & Rudy Niswanger in football.

Maybe if they could play other 4A teams in the playoffs this would be different.
WM is soft and will be for quite a while

Bull Hurley LSU
Mike Shepherd at Arkansas
I can’t remember all of them but there have been several.
OCS is not Calvary or Evangel. They don’t have a ton of D1 star rated players year in and year out. Not do they have kids that transfer in for sports. Their kids are homegrown and grow up in the system. That’s one of the main reasons they are so successful.

You were on here trying to sell people on Walteze Champ to LSU.

Nothing wrong with ULM or LaTech or any other Louisiana system school.
With that said you must not realize that Tate Hamby at OCS is committed to Vandy which is in the SEC.
Current Homer alum on College rosters
Homer
RB Elyjay Curry/Sterling (KS)
RB Star Thomas/New Mexico State
OL Davion Champ/Arkansas Baptist
LB Brendon Harris/Northwestern State
DE Walteze Champ/Texas State
I can see why you look down on ULM….

Yes. And it happened because they stopped trying to out athlete them and started confusing them. You bringing up the 48 points doesn't change the fact they were losing when they tried to play the game on talent and pulled away when they started relying on scheme

None of that matters. The scoreboard is only thing that matters.
