You mean the same people who think JD will be a NFL QB or a heisman contender next year? Nix season was head and shoulders above JD.

Who is this guy? NFL quarterback and Bo Nix? Lmfao, you really must not watch football. Oregon and LSU will be pre-season top ten teams but it’s likelier LSU will retain that status going into January 24’ than Oregon.

For those asking why Oregon, that NIL is a killer for them, decent young coach who can recruit apparently, and while they are in the PAC currently, wouldn’t be surprised if they leave ultimately to the Big Ten. Though that last part is speculation on my part. They’re a top 5 brand in college sports. It will be a typical nine win Oregon team but there’s some enticing factors in play. Now if you’re talking Miami or A&M w/ Jimbo, that’s certainly more of a head scratcher.

UCLA has immense untapped potential, always has, but looks like they’re finally starting to hit that stride under the lesser (but also good) Kelly. They’ll land DJ in the portal and obviously now have Moore. That’s a helluva haul for them compared to some years back.

In a conference that doesn’t play defense at all. The simple fact that he went from what he was at Auburn (fricking horrible as hell) to what he was last year at Oregon tells you all you need to know about that conference.

Literally every criticism given to JD is something the experts have said about Bo Nix. Poor accuracy, weak arm strength, tries to run too much, etc. the difference is JD plays in a real conference with real defensive players that get after the QB and Nix plays in a conference that would do just as well randomly selecting fans out of the stadium to play defense for them. It’s a joke and everyone knows it.

Being a Heisman contender does not = being an NFL QB. We’ve seen that many times before.

Personally I don’t see much future for JD in the NFL either. He’s a decent college QB with some limitation but an uncanny ability to run the ball. I could see him being an every now and then red zone QB for a team an NFL team maybe but as a starting NFL QB? Not likely.

Daniels will be a preseason top ten Heisman candidate, as will Perkins. I’d anticipate Nix to be there early on also. You’re simply spewing, have no true insight nor credibility and in the other thread claiming LSU has no top ten players by position in this recruiting class…see your way out of here…

That’s ABYSMAL. The justification from the fans up in South Bend was Freeman is this master recruiter and can land them when Kelly couldn’t. Whether that was the case or not, he couldn’t coach on the level of Kelly and it seems he can’t keep a high level of cohesion amongst elite recruits either. That’s worrying, though let’s see how his next class and season play out. Still, Kelly’s departure to greener pastures seems quite justified with the way he is recruiting and winning early on at LSU.

I’m not sure would go that far! Maybe Top 20?

They have Nike money, but that doesn’t equate to fan base or sales revenue.

Passing 2774 68.5% 16 TDs 3 INT
Rushing 180 attempts 818 yards 4.5 per 11 TDs
Sacked 43 times holy shite!

Passing 3388 yards 71.5% 27 TDs 6 INT
Rushing 86 attempts 540 yards 6.3 per 14 TDs...
Sacked 4 times

So we are in here always arguing about JD just needs more starts and a better situation but going to ignore maybe the same thing could be said about Nix coming from Auburn. Difference is Nix actually showed improvement this year while JD looked like he has since his freshman year.

Say what you want about how I see things but sorry if I don’t see everything through P&G glasses.

SEC defenses were not all that great this year and after the bowl season record you will see that.

You realize JD started for 3 seasons in the conference you say doesn’t play defense. Which I kind of agree with historically.

Go compare his best season to Bo Nix first season. By the way take a look at how many times JD gets sacked versus Nix. That’s a telling stat also.

Yeah. You can think that as a head coach if you've asked and know your boosters aren't going to pony up the NIL money. But, you can't ever say that out loud. What a clown.
