Was more of a luxiory at this point anyway

Hope he stays, but how unlucky can we get that he transfers to a school with a top Alabama commit attending.. What a coincidence

1. Who is down?

2. Verbal commitments, by definition, are not binding?

DeMarcus Walker tweeted something that he would be next to commit to Bama. I still think Walker ends up a Gator and LSU gets Greg Gilmore.

Will have to wait until Shea or Sonny interview him to really know. But if you are going off a HS players tweet then why isn't Landon Collins here?

Memphis, you of all people know I'm not talking shite. My comment about kicking people when they are down was based on your own fanbase knocking your team. FWIW, I think LSU beats USCe, but the overall consensus is that LSU is on a downswing, again, not my belief.

My statement was purely made to keep the homers (Cadello, etc.) off my back. I believe Daub will stick, but the rumors are out there, hence this thread.

Maybe he will. But we have the recruiters to put the work in.

i'd love for him to honor the verbal, but in reality, we will probably lose him…. Bama is just dominating at all levels right now, and that's what these recruits are seeing…. when we struggle, it hurts recruiting, especially when we struggle on National TV, looking like we did Saturday...

downswing? we are on a fricking downswing, we lost one game are you high?

he is a '14 kid, will take visits, anyone who knows recruiting knows these kids flip all the time and a commit like his will naturally bring some white knuckles to fans, should they care. If you are trying to flame, try this: LSU is on the downswing and you wil lose commits, because this thread really make you look ignorant to the ends and outs of recruiting, just sayin.

Dude, your negativity is unreal. You should probably find a new team to root for considering all you ever do is dog LSU. No flame, just an observation considering you never have on positive thing to say about our school.

Kain says he's solid but others from the outisde say it's something to watch. Who knows to be honest and really is it worth the worry at all? The kid is 16 months from signing and has already been a self proclaimed Gator fan, currently a LSU commit and now rumored to be going to Bama. Who wants to take bets that he takes a lot of visits and has another change of heart before it over?
Precisely why I don't like recruiting FL kids. They treat recruiting like it's one big joke and never take it very serious until about the last month. Not saying Daub is doing this or that all FL kids do but more than half of the high profile recruits in FL do act that way. Basically just treat them all as if the word commitment isn't in their vocabulary. How many cases of a kid being commited to one school but yet naming another school his leader(publically at that) does a state need to have before people get the picture that the state has a bad culture for recruiting?

That's what everyone was saying about last year's class and how mediocre it was.....now with 7-8 true freshmen good enough to get on the field in their first year. That was before the injuries and suspensions.

Just thought I would call myself a negative nancy for my thoughts on Daub when he first committed.

Just wanted to say "hi!" in this thread is all.

Daub still a commitment

quote:

"My commitment is pretty solid," Daub said. "At first I closed all doors to every other college. Lately I've been thinking and talking with my family that maybe I shouldn't close all of my doors in case something happens like a coaching change or something like that. So recently I opened my doors back to other colleges."

I guess he is hearing the buzz that our STUPID fanbase wants Les fired after "1" loss...sometimes I hate checking the rant

He's an idiot, just ignore him. He's always been a Debbie Downer so his posts really amount to nothing
