buuuuut Clemson is getting far more disrespect than they deserve in this thread.

Ott and Hanagriff had a good take on Clemson Friday. CH called them the biggest tease in CFB. Could be great, but never get there. Ott pointed out they get their star players, the A's he called them, but they don't get the B's, the depth that you need. They have some stars and then 2nd tier guys.

Gilmore isn't going to Clemson.
Adams is prolly Bama bound.
I haven't kept up with Hill.

I have no idea how Clemson sold nkemdiche.

Lots of wind in the sails at Clemson. But that's all it is. Wind. The wind will come out the sails just as quickly. This isn't over by a long shot. Dabo likely pushed him hard to commit. See how he feels in a few weeks after he gets away from Dabo and his koolaid. First round goes to Clemson. LSU honorable mention.

Had he decided to go to the diatoms or LSU I would assume it would probably be over, but still there is a small bit of hope. Funny thing is now a bunch of LSU posters here that thought he was going to bama now think we actually have a better shot. lol

Care to elaborate instead of making 36001 posts?

SEC is greater than ACC. Don't need a surgeon to tell you that.

I'm hoping he is just high on Clemson because of he visit. If that cools down, he will realize heis losing money by being in the ACC. I battled some Bama posters on this thread after his last interview. He clearly preferred LSU. I never understood why so many LSU fans thought we had no chance with him. I still think we have a shot with him.

Which Adams?

If you are talking about Montravius Adams, what gives you this impression of him ending up at Alabama? Sure, he is visiting them soon, but he has cancelled a number of visits there and Auburn/Clemson/Georgia have been on top of his list for a while. According to all in the know, Auburn is the definite #1 right now, and word is that he doesn't want to play with Robert Nkemdiche. I guess he doesn't like him, no clue. Knowing that, it looks like Clemson is out of it. So... 1) Auburn 2) Georgia right now. Alabama will probably jump somewhere in there, but I highly doubt they jump to the top after one visit.

Do you have any insider info? Just wondering...

I don't, I'm just going off things I've read everywhere.

Clemson will go 8-4 or7-5 the next 4 years. Dabo by his own words should be fired if he loses to S Carolina again next year.

No one said it wasn't. You're comment was either a horrible attempt at a joke or so stupid it defies explanation. There are plenty of SEC and NFL caliber players in the ACC.

Just take it as a horrible comment and move on, son. Go teach the world how to post. Go, you must!

If you've never been to Clemson, it's actually a great place to live and go to school. It has a solid academic reputation, but students still know how to have a good time, and be respectful as well. It's amazing how many people think that everytime we get a decent recruit, that we automatically paid him more (go ahead, cue the Kenneth Page and Mike Bellamy pictures). It NEVER has anything to do with the fact that we have a great academic institution, a beautiful campus, a solid (yet admittedly underperforming) football program, some great traditions that we are proud of, and a coach that although may be in over his head and a bit more enthusiastic than most would like, is doing a damn good job of recruiting and surrounding himself with some of the top coordinators in the country. It's sad that some of you automatically discount Clemson when it comes to recruiting, especially when it comes to a "Clemson vs. any school in the SEC" recruiting battle.

I think LSU fans just don't see any advantages to going to Clemson, so they blame it on money and wanting to play with his friends. Not saying those things aren't true but you know how fans can be. I do believe that his recruitment is far from over especially if he visits for the LSU/Bama game. I'd be shocked if he does not question is commitment to Clemson at least once over the next 6-7 months.

Maybe Clemson should stop spending all their money on players and pay to get someone that's worth a shite as a head coach. Until they do that, they'll continue to fold under pressure like they always do.
