Question for LSU Alumni: Do you think that Bigsike could be as "die-hard LSU fan" as anybody, especially an LSU alumni? For all our benefit, Bigsike, who would you pull for if LSU and Nicholls (is that one or two "l"s) played each other in football. If that were to happen, 75-0 would be a likely final score.

So because someone graduated from Nicholls you think they can't be bigger fans than someone who went to LSU. There are plenty of people in Southern Louisiana that donate tons of money to TAF that never attended a college class in there life. It doesn't matter where you went you can steal bleed purple and gold.
If Nicholls played LSU of course LSU would win by 70 but I don't think that game will ever be played.
The post was meant to find out if anyone has seen any of Nicholls new signees. Most people are excited to see a kid continue to the next level. If you don't like the topic move on.

tanners a beast and i think an upgrade from kevin long
Tanner has been working hard. This weekend he worked out with Zack Oliver and David Bell. I would like to see Denham run a little more play action next year and let him throw 20 times a game. Ths year the weather was terrible for throwing too and I think Denham is losing some good running backs like Aaron Webb. If he can throw 20 a game and complete 12 for 150 yards and 1-2 TD a game, it would be a great year throwing for a Denham team. I would like to see Tanner get dirty though...next year he may run a little more and get hit and dirty and tough. By the way, Elliott had a huge Sack and some good hits in the Red Stick bowl.
CHS has a few idiots like every school. Maybe a few think their better, but in the end, we are all the same. Ignore crap like that. Catholic was upset by the Denham win over them in 2008. That was Zack Oliver's worst game at 3-11 for 22 yards and 2 picks (the big pick-6 by Blaine Posey) and the VRRY IMPRESSIVE Hezzy Washington PAT block.
Michael Early is a gifted DB and Return man from Denham. 2 return TD's in 2009 and several int's (took one to the house). In 2009, he made Coaches 2nd Team all-State too. I would have thought college ball, but isn't he a little small for I-AA...did he get any interest....is he going to walk on at SELA? Does he have a highlight anywhere online to view? What's the deal?

LSU is actually playing McNesse next year, but why? I guess playing Nicholls could happen too. Many LSU fans who pay a lot of money and time supporting LSU, never went to school there, or anywhere. All true fans should support other State schools too and support local kids wherever they go.

DID YOU PLAY BASKETBALL AT NICHOLLS ST. BIGSIKE?
Posted on 3/9/10 at 7:51 am to LSUandAU
Yea true. I'm very good friends with Webb and Early. both were very good and key players. The thing with Early is that he might get another year of eligibility because hes from New orleans. This was also his first to play any kind of football.
I agree with everything you, said about tanner.
Elliot was going to arkansas state but because og grade issue hes going jucu

Hijacking is exactly what you've done earwax! Actually, this topic on this board is the EXACT definition of what hijacking is. Go on Nichols board to talk about your recruiting fiasco. This really is an LSU site, except for the Saints section.
So what you saying is that the other 12 boards under the Saints Talk are all LSU related? It was a simple question about Nicholls State recruiting. I do agree that some may want to know where local kids went and what is some info on them. I am as big of a LSU fan as there could possibly be. Some of you morons need to take off your Purple and Gold glasses. Until it says, LSU Recruiting Board, ya'll defense is pretty damn lame and really need to get a life!

NO that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying this is an LSU website by design and most "real" colleges ahve their own site to talk about recruiting with fans that share the same interests. It's like going to a Corvette website and giving questions about a motorcycles performance...many would know and could help but they aren't there for that, they are there about corvettes.
But u know what, nevermid, if you don't understand yet, there is no way in hell it can be explained to you better.

My brother-in-law starts on the O-Line for NSU, Bart Roussel. Says there gonna be better in the next couple of years. New coach bringing in more SKILL players since there going to more of a wide open offense. Said the new offense there bringing will help them alot more. Just too hard to move the ball when all you do is run and have no threat of a passing game

Looks to me it says "Recruiting Board."
not "LSU Recruiting Board."

Of course it is a Recruiting Board. I find it very difficult to find out anything about LSU recruiting on this site because of all those threads started by Gumps, Ole Myth, pigs, leghumpers, and the other SEC schools. They sure are a nuisance. They just don't understand that it's an LSU site.

Wow. I find it very difficult to believe that you can't find any LSU information on this site.

No offers, but I think he can play NAIA, and NAIA have a pretty liberal approach to offering athletic and Academic Scholarships. I would suggest he contact the head coaches and recruiting coordinators at Evangel University in MO, Peru State College in NE, Faulkner University in AL, Uviversity of Virginia @ Wise in VA, Southern Virginia University in VA and Belhaven in MS. He has good hands, good quickness, pretty good speed, good moves/shiftiness, can line up in different positions, is tough, etc. His size will be ok at these schools, the top backs have committed D-I and D-II and they all need the multi-purpose type guys in the backfield. Athletic money is available too.

GenPatton,
That person is out of line posting your name. You are entitled to privacy here and you seem like a good sports fan who has opinions, just like everyone else. I enjoy reading your comments and there is nothing wrong with promoting kids you know or like. He needs to edit out your name, or what he thinks is your name.

Northwestern LA tried to get 2 local QB's, but only signed the kid from Dallas, who looks like a good athlete, but seems raw hopefully just from a lack of good coaching. He is probably a two-year project...is Tyler Wolf, the former Central QB, healthy enough to play now after rehabing his shoulder. They will probably go for two QB's next year.
