I'm far from an expert on Reed's recruitment, but I think early on his intentions were to enjoy the process much like LS.
I'm not certain where he fell on LSU's board, but it's apparent he didn't get much if any attention. It's not a stretch to believe that Miles would let an asst. drop the ball with Reed.
The WR board for LSU has went through a slight adjustment recently, and two new coaches are on staff. I don't know where Reed sits on that board at the moment, but that could play a bigger role in this than the minor miracle you are referencing.

Freak was solid to UT too. He was going to go play for Orgeron who's the best at DL supposedly. It took 2 seconds with Frank to switch to LSU. I think Reed is going to Auburn, but Frank has an uncanny pull on these kids.

I'm still not a believer that Reed will switch from AU, but his interest in LSU is legit.

Thats all perception about switching. I dont think JH was waivering, just enjoying free trips.

Hunter was very serious about leaving.Our saving grace was that he feels our track program needs him more.If only football we might have lost him.Thank god for our track program.

If anyone thinks he's a lock to stay with Auburn or that there is no chance he switches to LSU you haven't been following recruiting very long, weirder/crazier things happen all the time.

he is taking a visit to lsu just to please his high school coach who is an lsu alum...and if he ends up at lsu good for you guys he is gonna be a good one IMO

Personally I don't think it has anything to do with his coach.His coach has been pushing LSU since he has been there.This is all Wilson and open depth chart.I don't think he will switch but Wilson is definitely giving him something to think about.Home school with a coach he really likes is a tough thing to turn down.Wouldn't be suprised but doubt he switches.
