New orleans has some studs coming up through the pipeline these next few years. Better watch out. Mend it or we gonna see Dinardo again

Lol anyone besides receivers and Dbs ? John Curtis ain't boycotting, neither are the Catholic league or the river parishes so we'll be good. Win 10+ this year and those coaches will change their minds quick

St. Aug still in the Catholic league, right? It wasn't that long ago, players their were steered away from LSU. Not good.

You really want to draw a line between LSU and New Orleans? That would be a terrible move by the football program. New Orleans has and will continue to put out great athletes. I think in the long run it'll get worked out.

So how's this boycott going to work?

Recruit: "Coach I want to go see LSU"

Coach: "frick no you can't go see LSU!!!!"

Not going to lie if I'm Orgeron I'm sending Jalluke to this meeting and if it's not fixed by the time he leaves then he's fired and he can stop collecting a paycheck and his wife can find her own insurance.

Think this through just a little bit more. You'd send Juluke to tell his friends that they have to call off the recruiting boycott because his job is on the line if they don't - even though recruiting is no longer Juluke's job. In other words, "fix this thing I broke by firing you or I'll fire you and maybe you're wife will die." Yeah, that'll play well...

That's not what's happening at all. This is a handful of coaches being petulant and throwing a fit because their under-performing buddy got a demotion that included no loss of pay or benefits.

Don't worry, CENLA to the rescue ....

Some of you old boys cant see pass your nose. The dubious firing of these coaches definitely sends a message to black coaches on LSU staff.. you must be "twice as good".

Ask Dinardo how that recruit national bullshite worked u dumb frick. The first thing Saban did when he was hired was come to nola and talk at all the local schools. That national philosphy is bullshite these days. U lock up your state and you pull in areas like Houston and FlorIda what u can.

I understand it's just a few, but it's not a good look regardless of how it happened. It's going to make it real easy for others to negative recruit against us in the future. We're losing battles in north la and I'd like to not have that happen in Nola. I just hope it gets worked out.

I was responding to a post that suggested that we never got talent from New Orleans, not that we never got talent from the schools that may be involved. You then ignored the second half of the post, so i'll ask you to kindly explain how we'd be better off ceding the largest city in the state for no particular reason. Please proceed.

You ignored the part where I pointed out that half of the players listed are not from New Orleans.
