Wow -the Alabama inbred hypocrites better not ever say anything negative about any program buying recruits.

That’s about as accurate as one can get when describing Texas, fair points, I concur. I’d argue, Oklahoma is the more successful of the two, though obviously not as say “sexy” on the national level.

Well DAMN, that’s a nice leap, if he just made it there, didn’t see that before. Pimpton is going to be special for LSU. Denbrock and Kelly with that freak of nature, will terrorize SEC defenses for the next three to four years

Coach Venables is about to jump in the waters of the SEC. Oklahoma and other prominent Big 12 schools have had the benefit of the doubt and a much simpler path to success over the last two decades in a significantly weaker conference. This is unprecedented and you do not want a coach “finding” himself with a historic football program that has high expectations, newly moved into the SEC with surging LSU and Tennessee programs, powerhouses in Alabama and Georgia, not to mention the tough middle of the pack teams like a South Carolina, Ole Miss, or Kentucky. Florida of all teams beat PAC-12 Champion, Utah.
Kirby Smart is an anomaly, he’s among the very elite in the nation, that’s not for one to just use as an example for Freeman, Venables, and other first year coaches. There are dozens of examples of Venables (potential bust) for every Kirby (boom). Norvell had a good season with Florida State and I like the direction they are heading, but they can very well collapse. He has not proven himself to be the long term answer, just yet. No, not every coach should be given three years, there is context to every situation. With said logic, Urban Meyer should still be in Jacksonville, where they’d likely be a dumpster fire, rather than in the divisional round with a new coach. Not everyone is meant to be a leader of an elite program. It is, what it is.

Not concerned. Still building. But Georgia is the new machine.

Womack is likely why they haven't pushed hard for a big pass rusher in the portal. They probably feel like he could be a day 1 starter assuming he picks everything up fast enough. We'll see.
That’s what I’m hoping. The guys we brought in from the portal may not jump off the page, but they look pretty damn good as your 2nd and 3rd rotation guys at Jack if Womack blows up. Add in a few snaps for Perkins there and that could be one hell of a rotation.

Don't worry we will be looking to see if Miami can dethrone 4&M as the new Transfer King end of 2023. Lol

I see that Alabama and Texas ponied up the NIL money to secure their classes.
Alabama 2+times most everyone in the T10 and Texas over 3x.
Didn’t Saban whine about it when A&M did it last year?
