Neither Shea or Billy have Desmond Ricks in their class predictions

but they both have Nyckoles Harbor.

If I had my choice I would rather Rick's than Harbor but it would be great to get either one

They did say that it's just a current prediction so you know it will change 3-4 more times once these visits happen.

I think Billy and Shea have a pact to err on the side of caution - and are just cautious to begin with. This feels similar to predicting lsu gets 7 wins only to potentially go 10-2. LSU is going to have a strong finish in recruiting. This staff is not the Miles or Orgeron staffs of old where we get blindsided or finish 2nd more times then not. They’re going to finish 1st a lot more.

I thought I heard Shea saying on Power Hour last week that he felt good about landing Ricks. I could be confusing it with Toviano though.
Side Questions regarding Harbor. What position is he being recruited for nationally and/or by LSU? Has he spoke on what position he wants to play? I remember he had some crazy QB Pressure/Sack numbers for the amount of games he has played but mostly hearing about him being an offensive player from the board.

I feel that. I just think it's interesting that they have more confidence in putting Harbor in the class when he hasn't even been on campus vs Ricks who has multiple times. That tells you how great Coach Cain is.

Agreed. Though Ricks would be the icing on the cake, definitely not mad at the thought of Toviano and Austin becoming lockdowns

Cap do you get Xavier Carter vibes from Harbor? I think Harbor is probably a better football player than Carter was but I also think track is his favorite sport.

Dude loves track probably a bit more than football but that could also help LSU when he comes in for his visit

Like Bosethus68 said above on the recruiting pod Shea just said that he felt like LSU was the current leader. Just seems strange. The feeling I get is that since Florida lost out on Cormani they're about to throw the bag at him.

It will change again and again. The class prediction in December is the one that will be the most telling
