Yes, every single recruiting service and P4 coaching staff has it wrong about this kid at the next level.
I mean this happens all The time lol. RBs frequently out perform recruiting rankings. Just look at who is being drafted into the NFL, or guys that are drafted (or UDFA) from small schools & flourish.
The Boise St RB is a perfect example

Who were they right about?

This is the recruiting board that discusses high school football current and potential recruits. Why do people get butt hurt when ppl post about a local high school player they feel is under rated or out performing their rating?

There are those on this board who think he deserves an LSU offer, and then there’s you who thinks he’s a better RB than the 2 who are currently committed. Not really apples to apples.
I’m not suggesting he shouldn’t get an LSU offer. I am suggesting he’s not better than the two we currently have committed

The Quad Brown situation comes to mind. Or maybe it’s how bipolar this board is. If Berry was committed to Bama or Texas and we had Sheppard committed this board would be foaming at the mouth about star rating.

This board once became infatuated with an undersized kid from New Orleans who played like a dawg at a camp in Tennessee and had almost no D1 offers at the time.

This is the camp I’m in too. I’ve watched Sheppard in person several times. My kids are in school with him. He’s absolutely worthy of an LSU offer imo but if we only have space for 2, I think the two we have in the class are slightly better.

Either way you feel, there's nothing wrong with bringing him up or reporting on the kid did each Friday night or coming on here saying each Saturday morning, you feel he's the best back in the state. Its all just projection anyway. I enjoy following all of it. The local kids LSU misses out on sometimes are just as intriguing as the one we get right.

Jeanty was a 4 star on 247. Sheppard is good but I want to see him get offer like Miss State or Ole Miss. He’s the 4th best back in the state which usually translates to a good player at one of the Sip schools

It doesn’t matter who they play. Week in and Week out (dating back to last season), Sheppard is continuously the best player on the field by far.
He simply stands out further than the rest.

People are star gazers. They’d rather miss on a 5 Star (GeNeRaTiOnAl) talent and win a recruiting title, than hit on an obvious 3 star talent dominating at the highest level LA high school has to offer.

Pretty sure Ole Miss offered. You ready to move the goal post? What else you need?
Are you retarded?

Even on 247, which was his most friendly eval:
RB29
45th best player in TX.
No relevant school in Texas even extended him an offer.
T14 brother, this was Jeanty's offer list.

Brother, I was comparing Shepherd and Durham purely off of run style. Relax
And I’m telling you it’s impossible for them to have the same run style when Durham has elite speed

You said under ranked not under recruited.
Sheppard’s Ole Miss offer is obviously not committable. Thought that my comment was obviously implying that I want to see him go to Ole Miss or Miss State

I mean he was objectively under-ranked too
