I don’t know man. Hopefully by the end of the season he’ll get an offer.

If not, only thing I can think of is possible character issues that isn’t obvious to the public. Maybe a bad psych evaluation? I don’t know. I’ve only heard good things about the kid.

Yeah there’s rule violations in this paragraph… both on the Berrys’ part and on John Curtis and St Aug

You mean to tell me that John Curtis violated a recruiting rule? Wow. It's the one's you'd never expect.

Calling a 5A playoff team who upset West Monroe awful is also a bad look. Check out Northshores schedule. It was pretty front loaded. But that’s not to say they are awful or not this year. Just an observation.

I’ll say it. The whole 7-5A district of Northshore, Slidell, Chalmette, Fontainebleau, and Salmen is awful. Almost as bad as the Jefferson Parish district we got away from. 4A Lakeshore is 4-0 against that district and Pearl River just beat us…

And West Monroe isn’t who they used to be. They might be fourth in their district now

So it’s ok to discredit the level of competition now when is Sheppard? Let’s wait till next week then. The level of competition seemingly gets much better with 5-0 Covington.

They were 8-3 (4-1 district) last year. Only district loss came to Ruston, which they lost by a touchdown. Are they down compared to what used to be? For comparison sake, yes. Big time. But they’re still better than 3/4 of the state, and is a napping giant. We all know this. Nobody wants to play West Monroe.

Lakeshore will be a problem this year for anybody. They will only lose 1 or 2 games. Very good, well coached team.

It's none of that. The kid is going to Duke and comes from a great family.

They already have 2 backs. I think it's as simple as that. I think he should get an offer.

you’re whole argument is based on the level of competition he sees every week. It’s fair game to point out the NS District isn’t exactly the Catholic league.

That's correct. The 7-5A district isn't great this year. But, the 6-5A district isn't a slouch, which is Mandeville's district. I believe district play starts next week against Covington, who is also 5-0.

Either way, the competition and talent level in both those districts are far superior to the 10-1A district. Let's be real.

There are a few sprinkled in that district. Covington always has dudes. But yes it’s certainly one of the weaker 5A districts

That's wrong. Theres a few, just like other districts.

His team (in which he was featured) also played (and upset) some pretty good teams w/ talent on their way to a semi-final loss against Ahmad Breaux and Ruston (who eventually won state).

The question you should be asking is not why lsu hasn’t offered, but why all the services have him ranked so low.

Maybe so, but the point still stands. You can talk about different levels of competition all you want but you have to camp

Sorry man, I’m not a star gazer. Don’t give a damn about how, when, or why kids get stars. That ish went out the window in 2014 after the Clifton Garrett fiasco.

Game film don’t lie.

Your entire premise is why berry vs Sheppard. Why isn’t he ranked higher? Why aren’t the major SEC players after him. My gosh
