It COULD be tough, but I think it'd be tough for Bama to hold on to him.

I can't be optimistic about that scenario, I have to take the kid at his word.

The smart move was to lock in on a scholarship now. Bama was willing to risk his grades, Miles was not.

We only have 4 or 5 scholarships to give.

I have seen several responses in other threads about hoping that Miles is not making a mistake.

I know he has others on the radar that are great atheletes but this is my opinion. I Sentimore grew up in La. and has been an LSU fan his entire life I think he will play much more with his heart when he puts on the purple and gold. You can not measure heart with a stopwatch or in the weight room. If I was a football coach and I had a shot to get two guys, one from my state that has been a fan his entire life and one from another state, I would have to go with the home kid if the talent is comparable.

Just my opinion.

Unless Bama intends on taking three DL, then Jamar Travis of Brewton (AL), is gonna feel real bad. I mean, he was just ranked one position lower than Sentimore.

Then there is poor Brandon Moore of Montgomery. 4 star DT.

With your logic, Bama just screwed two poor kids from Bama to take one from Louisiana. LSU burned on bridge vs Bama's two.

Another point, if Sentimore was "a LSU fan his entire life" then his heart should have told him to get his grades in line.

I wish the kid well where ever he lands. Looks like the kids has the tools, but needs to get his head in line.

Benton and Brown for starters

What brown are you referring to. I follow recruiting pretty well and am drawing a complete blank on who you are referring to (brain fart)

99% of the kids that play football in La. want to go to LSU. You can't sign them all. At times OL and DL are hit and miss. Les has done well with the hits.

I think everyone here would agree 100% with that but what does that scenario have to do with Sentimore? Sentimore is an academic risk plus LSU is recruiting a couple of guys that they feel would be a better (and qualified) fit for LSU. If the numbers work out, LSU may offer him and he will then have a tough decision to make I suspect. I think he made the best move to protect himself and wish him the best.

Why make this dumb statement?

You have to remember that Tigermike thinks we should stop recruiting the #1 WR in the country because he is also interested in Bama.

Moore will be in Crimson next year. Travis is going to the Barn.

The heart pumps blood to the brain.......25% of it is used to perfuse this vital organ.

His grades are that bad that even his strong heart can't correct 4 years of work and he will be an LSU tiger in 2 years after some JUCO.

instead of "settling" on Bama. Who had like how many people not qualify last year?

Two, Brandon Lewis and Kerry Murphy.

How many did LSU have?
