Aggie fans are delusional. They can polish a turd like noone else.

It does amaze me how they have 20 recruits and ranked number 1 for 2012 recruting class, even though only half of them are watch listers. The pocket books are def being pulled out.

Aggies have always had stepchild syndrome. They are and always will be Texas' little brother. With OU and LSU's success over the past decade they have fallen to 4th in the eyes of Soutwest Football programs, hell even throw TCU in there as in front of them.

They think that because they have a 9 win season in a down year for the Big XII that they have risen to the promise land.

Hey at least they won the Womens Basketball Championship, now they are on the top of everyones mind. (thats what my aggie friend told me)

You're an idiot. I'll say it for the billionth time, any real Ag or football fan for that matter knows one 9 win season does not a comeback make. It's a spring board to hopefully put a good run together. Remember, like y'all needed after ~50 years of irrelevance pre-Saban.

How about come with something original other than the “Texas’s little brother” bit.

Your entire post was the equivalent to an academic smack post, and we all agree that academic smack is as lame as it gets, thanks for adding your wasted bandwidth too it.

Back to the topic, unless Dallastiger needs to spew again to help himself forget about his obviously thrilling existence. After listening to DD’s interview, it would be a shock to me to hear anything firm for a while. Going head to head with the only in-state school, that also happens to be a pre-season top 3 caliber squad is always a daunting task. I really like DD’s style of play, I think however lands him will have gotten a good one.

Whoa there, pods. Watch what you're sayin.

In the 50 years prior to Saban's arrival, LSU just so happened to win one NC, 5 SEC titles (2 under Dietzel, 1 under Charlie Mac, 2 in the 80s). We went to the Sugar 6 times, the Orange 4 times, and the Cotton twice.

Just sayin....we sucked during the 90s. And we didn't even suck for that entire period. We actually had a few good years, then, too (95-97).

In short....you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

In 2006, A&M had 3 losses by a combined 6 points during the regular season. So it's not like A&M has been dog shite terrib.. oh.. who am i kidding.. they have been.

1949-1999

LSU
1958 National Champions
339 wins 209 lost 22 ties
61.4%
#21 vs overall Division 1 teams at the time.

1958, 61, 70, 86, 88 SEC Championships

1959 Heisman Trophy
1962 Walter Camp player of the year, and Heisman Trophy runner up(in the closest vote up to that time).

Texas A&M
313 won 238 lost 16 ties

56.6%

#35 overall

1956, 67, 75, 85, 86, 87, 91, 92, 93, 97, 98 Southwest Conference Champions

and just think:

LSU beat the 67, 86 and 87 Southwest Conference Champions!
