re: Most of us don't look excited about this year class like we all were last year

Honestly, outside of the gunshy approach most have taken because of last year, it boils down to the fact that no one knows anything. Outside of a few OOS kids we won't get(Gibson, Beckner etc) and a couple of instate kids that are no brainers(Johnson, Tillery, Guice, Merritt and Lewis) no one knows how the board sits and who are legit takes and candidates to be in the class.

Qb-shooting for the moon and not likely to take one
RB-board is pretty established so not a lot to discuss
WR-a few guys are high priority but no one can say definitively who are the top targets and who is realistically gonna be in
TE-who knows
OL-shitload of offers and no real idea of who are realistic and who aren't
DE-who knows who the top targets are
DT-not a single person has a grasp on how this poistion plays out or who the legit candidates are. Our nonoffers get more pub than our offers
LB-just like DT
CB-pretty established board and the only intrigue is how the last 1-2 spots get filled after Toliver and Lewis
