Most have been pleasantly surprised at the overall play so far, and the improvement we are making.

O was underestimated and the changes he made this season have made a big difference.

For that reason I'm starting to believe the same ole same ole may not apply to this year's recruiting class.

I believe that with all these analysts on board not only does it help in games, but it's going to help in evaluating recruits.

I also believe that O cut his teeth recruiting, and things are going to be different on signing day. Perhaps we will be getting a few surprises instead of being surprised.

Think about it. Maybe O can stop some of the bleeding, and get the fence well underway, and at the same time bring in some key oos guys. Maybe O will surprise off the field as he did on the field.

After all we have an exciting O now, a stellar D, and a sound kicking game. There's opportunity here in BR, and what's not to like?

Thank goodness Joe Burrow transferred in.
Season would have played out much differently without him.

I had hoped when O was hired that he could assimilate the different coaching styles and skills he had learned from all the coaches he has coached with and under into a successful approach at LSU. Seems he has grown a great deal since his Ole Miss stint. IMO.

Edit to add: Geaux Tigers...

People will shite their pants when he finishes with Tua Jr, Emery, Sopsher, Dean, Pickering, and Steele...

No, but O is pushing all the right buttons. It's a month and a half until early signing day. I expect it to be wild. O is rolling.

I wouldn't say "most" LSU fans doubted O. Just most on these boards. Most of those doubters now sit silently.........

recruiting is infinitely tougher today than even 10 years ago. with Fisher and Herman to the west and Saban, Kirby, Mullen and Richt to the east LSU is going to lose some recruits we got in the past. we have alternated (in the past) will recruiting very well in tejas, florida and Georgia.

this is no knock on Orgeron at all but we are going to have to keep the JUCO and transfer pipeline going. Louisiana simple doesn't produce enough top talent every year and fricking saban is going to get his. facts.

no question. same thing with Miles detractors. it is like they have permanent hate and their minds are totally closed. it also looks to me that some of them surely cannot be LSU fans. some of these young geeks think it's cool to "infiltrate" this site (because it's so easy to do and not administered strictly) and give LSU fans hell. I am very serious about this as I have seen political parties do it increasingly (different media, of course) and now LSU is fighting back with guys like Ree and others.

it's really disgusting (all of it); like it's some sort of war for our minds. I guess much of the public is gullible and very susceptible to rumor and social media manipulations. sadly, as a marketing degree holder, it is apparent to me it's now a form of marketing.

No, I'd say most prople, including myself, doubted O when he was hired, and when we lost bad to State and to Troy and with the Canada debacle that doubt continued.

Now doubting O does not mean these folks were pulling against him and the team. I pulled for him to do well as most did, but we had our doubts.

That's all I meant.

And folks will pull for him when he wins and turn around and want him fired when he loses. LSU fans are the most fickle of the lot.

Pre-Florida, he was the toast of the town. Post-Florida he was toast.

After the GA win, all good. Last night at the end of the first three and out, fire his arse they said.

Up and down...back and forth.

Wait until we tear it up this signing period as well. We are going to sign a great class this year.
