Your list offer does not hold weight if you want CM and are not just going on star rating. Claiborne says he is receiving interest from Georgia and has offers from Nebraska and A&M. This is > than CM

well i've also seen CM play

if claiborne blows me away as a playmaker, my tune may change

it will be hard to top michael's videos, however. he's a s-t-u-d.

Ok see I can see logic in that statement. I can agree with you there.

You have to admit though that 1000 yards passing and 1000 yards rushing is pretty impressive.

he's supposedly been a beast this year up in NLA, so obviously his stock has been climbing.

if they are truly bringing him in as a CB, then i can see them looking at jackson as a safety, which is prolly where he's better off at.

I'm confused..this thread started out saying Caliborne was recruited as a DB..Is he a DB, WR, QB or RB? What is LSU recruiting for?

Looks like a lot of you "experts" are basing Claibornes abilities and raves on "what he said". Since there isn't film on Claiborne its impossible to compare the two. CM plays much better competition, and looks like he should be playing in college now. Its not a chicken-egg thing. If Claiborne were similar, he would recieve adequate raves. Kid "says" he is much like T.O. Kid "Says" alot from the posts on here, but certainly not making comparisons or taking at face value what the kid "says."

Claiborne said he is more than likely going to be a CB

CM also said he had an offer from LSU. Everyone ran with that. He also SAID he didn't want to be recruited by Texas. A little double standard you think?

CM' s recruitment is the strangest I have ever seen for a 5 star RB with high character.

I will be following this kids career, just to see, what might have been

Of course, the kid has an offer from LSU while CM does not.

No, not really. Plenty of game film to evaluate CM on, or at least see the talent and hype. Claiborne may be all he "says" but since there is so little info out about him, its impossible to know. If Miles had offered and this announcement had been made months ago, probably wouldn't have been as big an issue. It sniffs a bit of settling.

it's as if he's getting the goodson treatment, without making a mockery of the process like goodson did

Both Sonny and Mike have said he is legit and film is on the way. Can you really argue with this?

I agree. He will end up being a walk on at Tulane and become the next Forte. HAHA

Its hard to say. Kids lie, coaches lie (its true). he said, she said. Probably no one but CM himself really knows the truth.

I don't think it is settling because it has been reported since the camp that he was a kid that would undergo further evaluation and if the staff liked what they saw, they would offer. This is the same type of situation that DS is in, but so far he has not impressed the coaches as much to earn an offer. The difference is, DS has **** beside his name.

Have had subscrips to several and not saying which ones here, no its not surprising. Not convincing either. Problem with pay sites, and not all people who are involved are exactly like this, their number one goal is to sell subscriptions. At times you get what you want to hear. Its really hard to get an objective opinion on a commit.

So you think the coaching staff is "settling"? In mid-November? With the limited spots we have left? and the caliber of players still on board?

This makes sense to you?
