I still don't get the UConn thing.
When I graduated HS in '86, I got basically spam mail from SF Austin & Rice out of the blue to attend their schools. Those are the only two schools that ever sent me letters. I still hold a special place in my heart for their efforts to lure me, even though they probably just sent out a bunch of letters to all the HS seniors in '86 from a generic La. graduates list.
But Mingo has offers not only from UConn/LSU/Bama, but also from Oklahoma, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Notre Dame, UCLA, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech, and Louisiana-Mon.
I don't get his facination with at all.

Mingo has always been a basketball player, with only 2 years of football. I'm sure he's a fan of the UConn basketball program. They may have a big home game whenever he visits.

From guys he played HSFB with, they think he is an LSU guy all the way! Plus, coach shows and the remainder of the WMHS football staff are LSU fans...so that can't do anything but help his decision.

Ive posted it many time. Saw a recruiting show on espnu seems like 18 month ago where Mingo said LSU was his favorite childhood team. Would suck bad if he went elsewhere. I think he will be a Tiger.

I will say this I would not won't him to go to Bama but Saban has put out some nice LBs since he been at LSU that and he will use Luther Davis to lure him in just thinking about it makes my stomach ill
