fwiw, after stopping off in Tucson, the plane took a trip up to Santa Rosa, CA - where it was only on the ground for 35 minutes and is now heading back to Tucson...

I heard from a very reliable source, it was In and Out Burger. A plane trip for a burger....

Since both of you can confirm this-- was Willis taken with them? Or is that illegal?
Can you imagine that recruiting trip: "hey priest, wanna go get on my plane and get a burger in California?"

Yes and Yes..

But your earlier question has me stumped. What's in Santa Rosa. I think there's a JUCO there but I don't see a target rich environment. Only makes sense that someone was dropped off (probably fly back commercial - 1st class no doubt) and swinging back to pick up CLM, but I just don't know....

Derek Ponamsky(sp) confirmed today on a radio show that Miles, Raymond, AND Chavis all went to visit willis and goodman. No link but heard with my own ears this afternoon. He may have something on BBI about it. With all three coaches going to an in-home visit I wouldn't count us out yet

That's three heavy hitters sitting in a living room.

If he did go to Santa Rosa, CA (25 miles north of San Francisco).

Santa Rosa has a good JC program. Jason Sehorn went down to USC from there.

Miles maybe visiting prospects there. He also could possibly head over to Petaluma,CA to see 4* DT prospect Elijah Qualls. He is currently committed to Udub.

Qualls on Miles radar? Hmmmm...

He also might be able to take a bit of a drive to Placer,CA to see Eddie Vanderdoes.

Good possible cloak-and-dagger stuff here.

Was Goodman in Arizona?

Also Priest Willis lives in Tempe, AZ, and not Tuscon, AZ.

Why would Miles fly into an airport that is two hours away from Phoenix, AZ (which has a much bigger airport)?

Did he want to watch a beautiful desert sunrise driving from Tuscon to Tempe?

So the concensus is that Miles is flying 2,500 miles round trip for a day in the Tucson sun? Not buying it...

This...

Not sure if anyone here has flown anywhere before, but you don't fly halfway across the country to just see one person or attend one event...you get bang for your buck...

Besides, if Tahaan swayed PW, then I think it's worth making a pitch to Priest to do what's best for him and not to just follow his buddy. Remember, the treasure is still at LSU!

If Goodman all of a sudden scheduled a visit for this weekend would you guys think maybe we got a shot?

based on recent flights, I'd say these flights have nothing to do with Miles. It's been in and out of Tucson and Sonoma area quite a few times over the past couple of weeks

But how often has it been in and out of New Orleans Lakefront Airport (NEW), especially within an hour after CLM said on Dan Patrick he was "headed west for recruiting", and subsequent posts confirm an in-home with Priest. Sure, may be a coincidence - but I doubt it.

Because multiple coaches have visited Willis, multiple times.

so we have multiple coaches hanging out in Sonoma Valley flying to Tuscon, AZ to visit a recruit that lives in Tempe, AZ?
