I've read all along that Wooten's #1 choice had been Florida. I think he's caught up in numbers there and UF is waiting on other before they offer Wooten.

well that's basically it the way I understand it too

So are ya'll saying wherever Debose goes (UF or LSU), Wooten goes the other way?

Debose could still be the other Florida schools also

maybe Benton can't get it together. Since we also have Wooten and Bell, maybe we need two big recievers.

Deangelo Benton, Deangelo Peterson, Tim Molton. That's of course Benton does get it together. Judging by some of the stories I've read, he's really making a serious effort to do so.

IF we get Debose I would almost expect Wooten to shift over to the Gators

we don't entertain Brown unless Randle leaves the state, which is a better chance than most Tiger fans want to admit.

Bell isn't going any where

Nah. I don't buy this. He's been down in Baton Rouge way too much recently. Plus, Benton is in Bastrop getting his grades in order. You don't think that's an extra push?

I understand all the sugar coating these recruiting stories are going to do for their fans that subscribe, but I really don't buy Randle going anywhere else but LSU.

I've heard that the staff has placed GREAT importance on Debose. So.......if we get debose and miss out on Wooten how does the board feel about that? Who'd you rather have?

I vote Debose.......think he's more of an all around football player. Flame me if you want. I think Wooten is a phenomenal athlete but I feel like he's more of a "gimmick player." Thoughts?

By the way, what a great problem to have. These are the days of LSU.........Who'd you rather have this phenomenal athlete or this one?

wooten is a good slot reciever. He would fit good in UFs offense. You can use him in gimmick plays but I dont think he is a gimmick play only type guy. Hes a good slot reciever thats putting up great numbers as a SR vs some good competition.

However, Dubose is better.

well, you can't feel great about it either. I think he genuinely likes Miami. Don't know if I buy the Bama reports as much. If he likes Miami then I could see him being entertained by Pete Carroll getting in his ear late and USC being a player.

I don't know anything about Brown. He is one that was never on the radar to be a Tiger. But if he is really in play it has to be because the staff doesn't feel air tight about Randle, right?

Debose gives you more size and front line speed. Both are ball players...Wooten is every bit as quick and fluid

I'd take Debose's upside

I agree. We have gotten awfully spoiled around here. The only thing we should be mad at is the 25 scholarship limit.

This is either good news or bad news...

Either the coaches are taking extra receivers, know one that is going to decommit or they just don't feel confident in Randle...

Miami's offense still making little to no progress should factor in to RR's decision making

Florida likes their chances of getting Marlon Brown too, which makes sense with Billy D's BBall program

Ever consider that Brown could beef up and be a good stretch TE... fyi, we had a thread on Brown a while back where I stated what I'd heard on Brown from my dad and his Memphis connections, and its looking more and more to be substantiated

I think that we could find a place for Brown. He's raw, but a redshirt year and maybe another year on the bench watching Randle could solve that. Seriously, if this many five star caliber players want to come to LSU, we are gonna be greyshirting a lot of people.
