“Sources: Duke is finalizing a deal to make Texas A&M DC MIke Elko the school’s next head coach. He’s the former DC at Notre Dame and Wake Forest.”

This is good news for LSU. Matthews was likely already returning to the good guys. This allows Tigers more time to work on Perkins. Blake Baker staying on staff would likely help there.

If those 2 are still on the fence, it would be great to announce our new DC over the weekend and get him in front of Harris and Perkins before A&M decides on a replacement.
