Cant hurt but I still think the real influence will be on next years class.

Maybe. But the real influence will be for future classes.
Other programs can really no longer use the “Orgeron is a joke” narrative to negatively recruit against us. He’s proven he can put together a unit that can make the playoffs. We can now use THAT to OUR advantage.

Recruiting is set for the next 4 years.
Unfortunately it looks like a down year in Louisiana for all non skills positions.

a buddy of mine was big Florida backer and they did big analysis on this years ago and determined that Natty really helped class two years later

Not so much. Your freshman and sophomores in high school who aren’t solid in the teams they love are affected. Most seniors already have their schools and have taken their visits. Juniors could possibly be affected.

maybe a little bit, but should help a lot with next years class. Wouldn't hurt at all to leave a couple spots open in this years class if we can't fill them with good players just so we can take 27 or 28 in next years class when winning the CFP should come into effect and help out with a bigger and even more quality class.

I wonder if any recruits "found" some tickets to the peach bowl.

CFB recruiting is the least predictable science in all of sports
