That long run could of easily been converted into a TD. He started leaving everyone pretty clearly and the Safety coming over didn't look like he was taking a great angle. Definitely has some burst in him but I'm real impressed with how powerful and low he runs. Just imagine how much stronger he'll be in a few years with more muscle.

Ford looked great considering it was high school blocking.Kept his body low, head up,good acceleration through the hole.Sort of ran like he was trying not to do to much to not get injured, which is ok in all star games.Kid's a beast, hopefully he can get his feet wet next year.

The kid is already nothing but muscle and bone.

Don't know if more muscle mass would improve him. Probably cut down on his speed.

just getting out of the 8th grade and already 6'5" 200 lbs? sounds like he'll grow into a TE.

You want to see more video of Ford click on the link and go to the Leesville game for the West Monroe schedule. BTW, you can see some Mingo as well. LINK

good speed, good pad level, good power, missed some gaping holes. Like Charles Scott, it's something you can improve on.

#99 is a JR and has already had a discussion with Miles about his recruitment next year. LSU and Nebraska were the first on him and he'll have offers from all over the country.
Tiger fans need to get excited about this one. He's a great player and LSU is in great shape.

I may be really out of touch, but I just saw on Scout.com that Ford had been rated as a 5*. Any info?
