Supposedly he wanted 1.5 Mil from miss st.
I can’t see us paying our first round draft pick LT $500,000 and giving a back up QB $1.5M

He was sacked 27 times
Hurts rushing stats a bit.
He’s not a big runner but he’s somewhat mobile.

just curious, how does this compare to Swan from Vandy last year besides being younger?

Sure, sacks count against rushing yards in college, but those numbers do NOT indicate that he's a big threat to run.
I didn’t say he’s a big threat to run
I said he’s not a statue
Five rushing TDS indicate that

He has a ton of experience and some flashes for a true freshmen. I like this pick up.
I wonder if he is mobile, his stats don't indicate he is?

Well swann lost the qb job on a bad team. Van Buren took over on a bad team. Showed some potential

AJ Swann was fricking awful at vandy
This kid threw for 300+ yards twice
He can play

He should have waited a year “if” he was going to be starter for MSU again. Could make more money vs sitting

5 Star out of HS, committed to Oregon for a long time.
On3: 3 star (QB 43)
247: 3 star (QB 27)
ESPN: 4 star (QB 4)
Rivals 4 star (QB 14)

This is a similar move that Jaden Rashada made last year going to UGA to sit. Van Buren will likely be our backup though. Hopefully he can redshirt.

Oh, that looks like he has some wheels. Not elite wheels but pretty good wheels nonetheless.

He’s pretty much a more mobile Nuss.
So like a Jayden Daniels, or a Joe Burrow?

Does this mean Hurley's out the door? How's that to play out?

In the same sense that Drew Brees wasn’t a dual threat. Doesn’t mean he won’t run,
