He was still a top 10 QB coming out of high school..

So...4 TDs in 12 games>>>>>6 TDs in one game? Also those 12 games included ULM and McNeese State.

In Spring ball, Zach had beaten out Aaron Murray who was #2 on that list. I saw what Murray could do this yr and if Zach is anywhere near as good as him, that should easily be enough to beat out what LSU throws out on the field now.

All LSU needs is a competent QB to spread the ball out to our dynamic skill players.

And Mett looks more than competent.

you have got to be fricking kidding me. You still haven't sold me as an LSU fan if you still want JJ or JL to start. So this guy hasn't sold you because he's taking his JUCO team to the NC game. He could have started at Georgia this year. Good thing his team didn't lose in the playoffs you might not want him at all. If you are seriously getting excited for another shitty offensive year you can go cheer for someone else. I want a good offense.

We were the least sacked team in the SEC this year.

It would be a sin if he didn't start over Lee and Jefferson next year.

Agreed. If he can't start next year over JJ and JL, he is another Chris Garrett. I just can't take another year of this pitiful QB play and offense.

true...but with the inconsistant play we've had at qb it would seem imperative that we address that issue. we also lose JJ/JL after next yr. I also expect a dropoff on D next season with the losses of PP, Sheppard and Nevis. a gunslinger might be just what we need.
