I know McKinnley Jackson was the top DT on their board back in the summer. He was a top priority but as others have said, it’s tough to get those cats out of Mississippi.

Will be a tough pull out of Mississippi as it always is but I think the kid likes LSU a lot and playing along side Guillory and rooming with him at the army all American game certainly doesn’t hurt

Vol made a cameo a few days ago and said we were still in it. I can't see it myself. He is too short for DE and we are looking pretty good at NT. I think he fits better in a four man front.

nope, 6' is not to short for a DE in a 3-4 defense. He is very quick and would be a great DE or NT in our defense. A front d-line of Roy, Guillory, and Jackson with Ojulari and Webb on the edges would be to much for any offense to deal with.

I think you are confusing the words "want" and "need".
We have 3 well regarded DT signed already.
We need a RB and S, we want another DT.
Of course, our "needs" will only be finalized after we see who goes to the draft early.
