Literally nobody out there has played both football and basketball successfully in decades. You have to ultimately pick 1 or the other. The seasons massively overlap as do practice/training for each.
I'm sure he'll do the Trey'Dez thing of joining basketball midseason year 1 to have some fun and realize its just not possible and focus on football (or maybe he choose basketball, who knows)

He really should focus on football. It's easier on his body and will potentially have a much longer pro career. And to be honest, he has a body more for basketball than football.
