The video's I have seen have him hitting receivers in stride or throwing open receivers. Good stuff.

TJ seems to be hitting receivers after they are squatting on routes.

I hope both put in the work to perfect their craft and play in due time.

He's similar build and speed as burrow at 6'4 216 and runs a 4.7 40. He passed for a third as many yards in high school because of the system he was in, but he has similar HS completion % as burrow did.

Yep. We could be signing another elite TE around the time Gilbert is looking to go pro.

Max's Brother Jake is going to be a 5 Star recruit in 2 years. I would suspect he will follow Max to LSU

Just curious . . . What position does Jake play?

Well, it certainly won't hurt that his dad is a 2-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion.

And he comes from a football family. Hopefully he exudes confidence like Burrow. It didnt look like he had any Power 5 receivers to throw to in high school.

His brother is a TE, don’t be surprised if he makes an Eric Winston-like move to OT

He would have been ranked a lot higher if we went to Mater Dei or IMD academy. The reason he is ranked lower is because he went to his local high school. The coaches understand this, they've seen him at camps and know that the kid can ball.

Having a super bowl winning QB as your father certainly doesn't hurt. You are getting 24/7 mentorship throughout your life on what decisions to take to make it to the league.

The only thing I don't like from his film is his stance.

I looked up his stats.

He was 157-238, 2046 yards, 28 TDs and 5 interceptions. 66 percent completion rate.

Love an athletic OT that was a former TE.
