That's what I keep hearing. Would love to see some film of this. Cam apparently knows his shite since he's been on him since he's been here.

Not excited. But I knew you would get your panties in a wad if I started a thread about it over here.

they are hard after Brandon Dawkins.
It has been said that Dawkins is a lean to ND...but maybe not with this news. Or maybe they just like Kizer better.
Dawkins tried to commit to them a week or so ago (told a few writers he was committed). They got back with him and told him to take his other visits and wait.

Following the news that Everett Golson was not enrolled at Notre Dame, Brandon Dawkins attempted to commit to the Fighting Irish. He even attempt to begin a Twitter campaign to tweet Head Coach Brian Kelly, who could not be reached because he was on vacation.
Dawkins told 247Sports:
“I decided that if the offer is still there, I’m going to commit (to Notre Dame). They offered a few months ago, which was a while, so I haven’t really talked to them much, but I just want to talk to the coach, make sure everything’s still there, and hopefully commit. It’s a big program that was my first offer. It’s a pretty big deal. I’ve always been interested in the program and I’m just ready to commit. When I took the trip down there, it pretty much sealed the deal. I fell in love right away with the campus right away, it’s an awesome campus. The whole staff is great and I’m just ready to do it.”
Dawkins attempt to commit came out of left field on Saturday night. He had not been mentioned in a while as someone the Irish were pursuing at the Quarterback position. However, he was the first offer that Notre Dame extended at the Quarterback position.
Since Saturday night, the push for Dawkins to commit has cooled. Whether or not he still intends to commit or whether the Irish coaching staff would even accept his commitment remains to be seen. On Sunday, Everett Golson expressed his intentions to return to school in the Winter/Spring Semester of 2014. This could obviously alter Dawkins’ desire to commit. In addition, the Irish may want to hold off until 4-star/5-star Quarterback Kyle Allen visits South Bend in early June.
Dawkins has visited Bama and Tennessee. Goes to the same h.s. as the Clausen's. Casey Clausen was the OC at Oaks Christian during his sophomore year.

Great choice. I congratulate the young man. You know the offensive success OSU has had under Gundy. LSU's is still an unknown commodity even with Cam in the saddle and the Les factor. Certainly can't fault the kid.

The real genius behind that Okie State offense, Monken, is now at USM stealing good Louisiana high school coaches.

I'm friends with Rudolph's HS coach Kyle Richardson and he told me Rudolph wanted to commit here and called Les to tell him that, but Les said he couldn't take a commitment from him because an in state kid (Brandon Harris) is a higher priority at this time. Les must think we have a good shot to land Harris

This. Monken is an offensive genius and can actually develop players. Crowton over Monken was arguably the worst decision ever. I just don't think Miles liked how intense Monken is, just my hunch

Monken's a bright guy and think he'll have success at USM but it's quite a stretch to call him the genius behind the OSU offense. He only worked for 2 years under Gundy and when he was hired, he was asked to run Holgorsen's offense. In fact, Weeden supposedly coached him on it.
