I don't understand this obsession with rivals rankings. Rivals sucks. They dont even have a local scout worth a shite. Scout, the best evaluating site, has us 7. We will end somewhere around 6 or 7, putting LSU in the top 10 for the 7th straight season. Are you a stargazer?

Your train of thought is that because LSU shite the bed (Only on Offense) in the BS BCSCG that recruits have decided not to come to LSU. However they would also rather not play $abun and go to FSU. Because last time i checked Jimbo has yet to play the midget.

Can I ask what recruits have eliminated us due to the MNC game? I can't seem to think of one. Edwards was a long shot from the outset. We got a visit and that was a win in itself. Tracey Howard was trolling. The knowledgeable people on this board tried to express that fact the very night that he put us in his top 3. Never forget, we stopped calling him not the other way around. Gunner Kiel chose to give his mother what she wanted. Even the biggest ND homers admit that. The kid was all set to go to LSU. LC commited before the game and was going regardless of whether we won or not. Who else is there that we were supposed to get? We got Hill and Phillips as expected. I'll wait for someone to list 1 recruit that dropped us because of the MNC game. Don't want opinions or thoughts.I want proof and substantiated evidence with some kind of quotes from somebody. It's just an excuse for the Les haters to bash him,nothing more.

ah well, good luck to him. FSU will prob get to the orange bowl sometime in his 3 years. The bad thing is he will be trying to recruit for FSU over the next 9 days. Sounds like we need to full court press whoever we want before NSD. I am sure the coaches are doing that already. Not the best ranked class, but looking pretty good considering we are filling holes that we need to fill. THe only major disappointment was LC since safety is a need, but missing on DEs and CBs won't really hurt us. Missing the QB and S sets us back a bit, but we'll get it next year unless we can snag one or two before or at NSD.

Mike S. stated that this staff only has a couple of good recruiters a couple of weeks ago. This might be catching up with LSU now.

Man, that's a lot of excuses in there. Bottom line is, LSU missed on several very good prospects. This better not become the norm, or LSU will not maintain its position as one of the elite programs.

mike also has a few bones to pick with the current staff
but I will say we have a few too many guys on staff who don't seem to do much recruiting....Ensminger, Stud, etc
