Everyone had bad info on Emery and no one expected him to commit to UGA this weekend. We knew they'd put on a show for him, but committing wasn't expected.
The Brooks info was just wrong though.

Yep. Not ONE expert put in a CB for Georgia. Not a single one. Usually SOMEONE will get wind before a guy announces, but nobody did.

In all fairness to VT, he just said there are rumors. He didn’t say he believed them. And, he was right, there was crap floating around.
There are millions of $$$ on the line. Some schools and coaches play dirty and plant shite. People just need to take a deep breath and don’t exacerbate the rumor by talking negative trash. Let things play out.

I think it’s pretty obvious Emery got caught up in the moment. It happens. But, dang, let it play out. Give the staff time. Georgia’s depth chart is ridiculous at RB. It would be a very dumb move on his part to go there. Remember, this was the guy earlier in the summer that wanted to be THE guy.
Emery obviously had no idea what he wants to do and his mind is going to keep changing.

Yep. remember 48 hours before signing day Terrace Marshall was a done deal to A&M. His parents were "seen" house shopping in College Station and the A&M boards were were celebrating.

Not knocking because I really don't know. But, I have been skeptical since he posted the #1 overall baseball recruit was meeting with Paul Mainieri on a Monday in Baton Rouge that CPM was coaching the USA baseball team on the East Coast in a noon game against Japan.
He worded it like you described, so he is never wrong. Something like "take it for what it is worth" but I heard PM was meeting with The #1 recruit trying to convince him of the advantage of attending LSU.
How could anyone in the know not realize that PM was coaching against Japan that day?
take it for what it is worth, don't take it to the bank but I heard, it may not come to fruition but, etc etc etc.
How many commits did he predict the last LSU camp? LSU got a 4-star QB, did he predict that? Speigs predicted the top DB in JUCO ball, did Voltiger?
And didn't he say Young was smitten with LSU and had committed or was going to, only to see Young commit elsewhere two days later in spite of his love for LSU?
