So what’s the backstory on Manning’s and not playing for LSU?
Just so we are clear, I wasn’t suggesting we go after him, etc. just seemed like some people on the board some deep rooted hate for him and Mannings in general, was hoping for a good story

Archie is from Mississippi and played for Ole Miss.

They really aren’t permitted on the LSU campus except on game day when we break them. They are not part of our tribe.

Archie was at Ole Miss during some heated rivalry years between LSU and Ole Miss. Certainly didn't build any love for our Tigers during that time. Peyton went to Tennessee so no real LSU connection there. Eli of course followed in his dad's footsteps at Ole Miss and also had some heated rivalry years. No love for LSU. Arch has grown up in a rabid football family that all have no connection to or have outright hatred for LSU. They love Louisiana and are basically New Orleans royalty, but they are not Tigers.

Not an fairly good QB who has not played in 30 years , nor his kids who never played for a home team college or pro team. SMH

Cooper and Archie live in Louisiana. They don’t love Louisiana. Eli and Peyton haven’t lived here since high school and certainly don’t love it. Arch ain’t coming to LSU.

All of this plus the fact that Archie's dad was a huge Ole Miss fan when Archie was growing up and LSU-Ole Miss was a huge rivalry back then. LSU is still the team that old-time Ole Missers hate the most. Archie basically grew up hating LSU.
