Malik Newman LSU target for Bball

This dude looks nasty and is a finalist with Ben Simmons for player of the year. Heard just a little bit that he is looking at coming to LSU, but everything Ive read online look like he's gonna go to Kentucky.
Does anyone know anything about how good our chances would be to land this kid along with Simmons and Blakeny?

Malik is trending LSU pretty hard over the last 24 hours and is really close with Simmons and Blakeney.
What LSU has going for them is that Blakeney is a SG and Malik wants to play PG. Kentucky and Kansas are much better off at PG than us. The guard position in general at LSU if all three came would be unreal. Patterson would be like the 5th best guard somehow
Offensively, this team will rake it next season.

Honestly, UK is trending downward. Everyone has always assumed it would be UK because they get so many high profile guys. But as the season plays out, UK looks less and less likely. And the longer he waits, the more Blakeney and Simmons are in his ear...and they're very close to him.

^this is what i was hoping for. Having the number 1 player in the country ask you to come play with him has got to carry a lot of weight in his decision. LSU basketball could be really exciting next year

This story is sounding more and more like the Blakeney story every day....
Simmons was in Blakeney's ear and he listened. Blakeney and Simmons are in Newman's ear and I think he is listening. He talks to both of them daily as well as LSU coaches. He also likes the PG situation and the PT he could get at LSU.
