Believe Burns was the #5 player in Louisiana (4.58 or similar in the 40), meanwhile the #4 player from Louisiana is still available and happens to be a safety who runs a 4.4 40....Reed!! Hmmmm!!

Did I ever say 5 CBs is loaded? Nor did I list the entire roster such as Kary Vincent? The point, which you missed, is we don't need to sign a lot of CBs this cycle.
And you conveniently left out that we're likely signing another one, as I said, which would be 6 in your made up numbers.

There is also talk of “grey shirting” and the fact that he will be a potential OL project vs. DL. Both could have been contributing factors in the decision to keep him vs others.

We have far too many individuals on here that think they are more knowledgeable than the coaching staff that just delivered an SEC title and has this team poised for a run at the national title. If I am not mistaken, we have now 23 commits. If we are going to fit all the recruits who are expected to want in....Burch, Webb, Evans, Dumervil, etc. we need a few guys to drop. Calm down folks and let the process work itself out.
