that's not even the biggest selling point. Compare defensive line prospects each program is putting in to the NFL.

All UGA has here is cash to spend.

Nothing wrong with a kid wanting to see what his options were. I think Masson is a very bright kid who in the end will realize all the benefits beyond the obvious of suiting up for your home state on Saturday’s are too great to ignore. By playing at LSU he is forever loved and taken care of in this state. He will never have problems making money or finding a good job even in the small chance football doesn’t fully work out. And don’t give me the shite about the Georgia education being better than LSU. LSU did me just fine in my career.

the only thing that worries me with Smith is that he has no allegiance to the state or LSU. His parents were not LSU fans growing up. He actually has an open mind about going out of state. I'd like to think that O has been putting in work for years with this kid, and that it will pay off.

But reading the tone of the article that was written by a UGA writer, it seemed he was a lot more open to leaving than we all think. O has to close this kid, and of course the dead period being extended is killing us as much as anyone.

is that the same approach you would have taken back when we were getting spanked by bama? head to head wins don't register much with teenager brains. Life is going to be about the same either way. Know what makes life not the same, especially to a kid?

let Maason watch our D line this year and then he won't have much trouble deciding :)

Everyone was getting spanked by Bama, and LSU had at least won some recent national championships.

Exactly. We need Glen Logan to have 6-8 sacks and be All-SEC or better this year. If this defense looks fun to play on, it will be too good to pass up.

Does Masson's mom really work in Georgia as a doctor? Just Curious, I read this on here about a month ago

No. She works in JACKSON, MS as a Dr.

However, she has in the past lived in GA (with MAASON), and it’s been reported that she would move back to GA IF he went to UGA.

Smith not being able to officially visit UGA should help us. How ironic would it be if Foreman wants LSU and convinces Smith to come play with him?

I mean...DL is one of the team's weakest points. I think they'll be fine but i would be surprised if the DL turns out to be dominant

Look at the depth and quality of Bama’s roster over the last decade. Wins obviously mean something to some elite kids

Me: Lol seems like I’m seeing this statement a bunch. What’s so special about it.

Me after checking projected 2020 depth defensive chart :

I’m joking around but they are Loaded. Lots of leadership. Our defense will also be very good and fun to watch. Our offense will be plenty good enough to allow our defense to be the most aggressive form of itself. Do you really feel the same way about Georgia. I don’t see that but who saw LSU going 15-0 and sweeping everything in historic fashion.
