I remember the LB room being bare when Aranda got here due to poor recruiting by Chavis. Maybe I should give Chavis more credit for developing some of the guys though.

He coached up the Stone Mountain boys who Peveto recruited before he got here. But he also let Debo Jones sit the bench until his last year here so DJ Welter could start. Jones was able to play MLB immediately in the NFL but for Chavis he could only back up Kwon on the outside.

Incorrect. It was Beckwith that sat the bench while welter played and finally started playing more at end of year and started the next. Debo didn’t play mlb.
I still can’t believe welter started so long. It was painfully obvious he was not sec material and I bet it bothered many in the locker room

Iota- I watched an interview with Mike Scarborough last night, seems like he made it a point to reiterate the fact that certain teams are using NIL as a smokescreen to go wild. He mentioned beefing up certain laws or rules but didn’t clarify. As u said, arse&m won’t get away with their shite for forever, it’s only a matter of time before they hang themselves with the rope they’re playing with. GDT’s
