LSU is in way better shape this recruiting class. There won't be any "news" or commitments until the visits start in 2 weeks

She was at LSU for a unofficial in early June though

Who are the 2 schools that Divine Bourrage cancelled visits? Looks like Arizona's visit on Sept 7 was cancelled. Who was the 2nd cancelled visit? Hope she commits during her LSU visit Sept 6/7, along with Zakiyah and Grace.

I think Divine commits in the month of September and if she does it looks like it'll be LSU right now
I think Knox and Zakiyah we won't hear anything until either late October or November unfortunately (same w/ Chavez). I dont see these two cutting their other official visits. Pretty seldom for top recruits like that to not follow through with their official visits
Ayla McDowell gonna be interesting. I know LSU is recruiting her but isn't top choice relative to those other I mentioned so it'll be interesting to see how that visit and recruitment is handled this fall. I'd assume after Knox/Zakiyah visit they will have a much better idea on how hard to push when she visits
Also, LSU made top list for 6'5 big out of KY whose recruitment exploded within the last 5 months. Very mobile and big.

Thanks for heads-up on Mbugua. Here's some info on her. She came to Danville, KY from Kenya at age 12. She has quick feet and the speed few 6'5" players have that makes her a good perimeter player as well as a special inside player. She could play the 3 or 4. Several top coaches have said she could easily be top 25 recruit. She has a chance to become state of Kentucky's all time leading rebounder.
She originally committed to Liberty Univ (VA) in 2021 but decommitted in March. She had a spectacular season avg 25.7 points and 15.4 rebounds per game. She led the state in rebounding for the 3rd straight year, was 5th in the state in scoring 25.7 avg and ranked 7th in FG% at 61.8%. She may be a good one to keep an eye on.

The only issue is I see she recently tore her ACL so that could complicate how much LSU pushes for her now. If she were healthy I could see it being a different story.

Kim certainly on top of things this year and here being incredibly active and to the forefront traveling to watch these kids all summer has changed my tune relative to last years class where she mostly sent Redus/Daphne everywhere while she dealt with that health scare

If they could somehow pull off Knox, that covers Morrows spot but they will have to hit portal for size at the 5 spot
Unfortunately 2025 class is not very post heavy, very little to choose from

They gonna have to close strong on the official. Latest chatter within the last week is that , Chavez is rumored to be leaning towards Texas (who already has another top 5 player committed). How true things are remain to be seen
