Add Mack. We are taking 5 this year. 5 very good ones. Not a problem due to everyone we are losing at WR after the season.

I think the Mack commitment only effects Feaster NIL wise. With 4-4star WRs, LSU doesn't have to compete in a bidding war.

Mack is more of a Deebo Samuel player. We can line him up in multiple looks for the offense. I assume the conversation with the staff after Mack's commitment will be about the likelihood of Boobie playing as a 17yr old Freshman. That is one of the top priorites for him. If the Mack commitment doesn't change that, he is still in play.

This class is shaping up to be a real great one.

They don't. That's just a scenario most, likely including the staff, recognize would benefit us the most. The reality is, regardless whether one of the 27 kids moves up a year into the 26 class, we will have to pay both and the chances are greater that both will transfer than both being here throughout their college career. I completely understand the sentiment and don't disagree but it's just much ado about nothing really. It's a perfect world scenario where we land 2 of the 27 kids and have a year of separation. We don't operate in a perfect world unfortunately. Just get the 1 we really want.
