Until LSU start developing 1st round talent on the defensive line Alabama will continue to keep getting the best Defensive Linemen in the country because they develop them into 1st round draft picks. The proof is in the pudding. If a school is Developing and getting guys a 1st round draft pick then they going to attend that school because of their track record.

I’d like our OFFENSIVE Line to be good enough to block the Alabama DL. How about that? Defense hasn’t been our problem against these assholes.

BS! LSU has def lineman all over the NFL! Did you not watch Brookers in the title game? He dominated! Take that to the rant

Can't get anymore self explanatory. Until we (LSU) develop talent into 1st round draft picks then we will continue to see top rated Defensive linemen attend Alabama. I know the truth hurts sometime but you should be use to it by now.

While, I agree. There is a certain level of God-given ability that allows a player to become a 1st round talent. If you have certain physical limitations, it doens't matter how well you get developed.

Not many 3* get coached up to 1st round talent, so it's a chicken/egg debate. I don't think Bama coaches their DL up any more than any other program. They are just getting a head start due to the physical capabilities of the recruits they are getting compared to everyone else.

I agree but most 4 and 5 star defensive linemen are going to Bama because year in and year out they have defensive linemen getting drafted in the 1st round.

I call Bullsh*t. That is like saying LSU developed Ben Simmons into the first pick of the NBA draft. Those linemen have first round ability when they step on campus, and would be a first round pick no matter where they went to school.

Different generation of kids now. They joining the teams that winning and competing for National Championship. LSU isn't in the ACC or any other conference where they can get away with signing 3 star linemen. We competing in the best conference and we not recruiting 4 stars and 5 stars defensive linemen like Bama. Bama getting kids drafted in the first round on the defensive line. Call it whatever you want to call it but we not doing what it takes to get 4 star and 5 star defensive linemen to LSU. Most defensive linemen go to places like Bama because their history of getting kids drafted in the first round and Saban a hell of a coach. Sorry, but it is what it is.

Yes we have plenty guys in the NFL but these new kids are going to schools that are a hot commodity right now. Bama and Clemson are them schools for right now. So, we must start winning and competing for a National Championship in order to over turn Saban dominance!

We do need to get better on the DL. We will struggle until we improve our OL and DL play against Bama. Not new news been happening for quite awhile now. I am sure CEO appreciates you reminding him.

What the hell is this about development??? Give me Bama’s D-line recruits and I’ll get most of em into the first round. It’s called recruiting, and we suck at recruiting the trenches!!!!!’

Our defensive line has not had a brockers type talent since brockers. We are better and have upgraded. It is more offensive line than defense that has developed into a very large GAP against Bama.

Our DLine the last four or,five years has gotten little pressure on the QBs of the good to very good teams we play. Much less pressure than opponents get on us.
