“While Stewart is keeping his decision close to the vest, sources told ESPN that Oregon and LSU have emerged as front-runners.”

You better do what you can to score Stewart.

Adding Stewart and Solomon Thomas would nestle you right back into the top 3.

We are about find out a LOT about LSU’s NIL and recruiting capabilities over the next couple weeks.

Getting him is a must as a program perception thing as much as anything else. You have to change the narrative on the program right now.

dude, LSU needs guys that want to come here.

We cannot compete with Knight or Portnoy.

It's over as far as the NIL dept.

Get La. guys and try to be top ten in country.

Stewart has become a must land. Kelly needs to put his balls on the table and land Stewart and Thomas and change the current perception. Things have been bleak for nearly a month, and we are probably the biggest laughing stock in CFB this exact moment.

That's the word. Reportedly what USC offered. We balked going above 1.5 for a "generational" qb but yet expect to match 2 mil for what equates to a high school sophomore in experience on the DL. No thanks. It would completely evaporate what very miniscule amount of faith I have left that our staff and money men have a clue as to what they're doing. An absolute joke is what it would be. frick perception because he's some thought to be hotshot that happens to be from LA. All the obvious signs of bust are all over this kid.

I hear so much different shite daily in this kid. Plus he reached out to Michigan after he heard they were paying big. Honestly I don’t even care if he’s part of this class

Yeah, 99% of these guys that only worry about the money end up busts.

I’m not sure about just throwing money at these guys. How does that affect the guys on your roster currently? Will they feel jilted?

What about next year’s top 5 Louisiana players, will they expect even more than Stewart since we were “able” to afford him?

Idk, but I don’t get paid $10mm to figure it out. I’m sure all these scenarios have been addressed and it’s probably a fluid situation.

This was true during most of Les' tenure. We were in running for so many highly rated guys and then find out we were #2. It seems recruiting has come a full circle.

I don't think we get Stewart . He is going to get a higher NIL and past us over. Just my gut feeling and I hope I'm wrong.
