1st portal player - Mickey Winchell will play CF. Batted .377 with 12 hrs. in her career at Notre Dame.
Good Start. Now, we need SS, and a Pitcher. Here's hoping the Freshman will fill in at 1st, Pitching, and C.

I.would love to know the backstory of why so many player left after making a super regional.

All you need to know is:
1. The program is stagnant
2. Other schools offering more money
3. A player will not get developed under Torina.

1 - disgruntled starting player/and a little more money
The rest - playing time sprinkled in with a little more money.
Nil/revenue sharing in LSU softball is not at the top like Football, or even top 6 like basketball and baseball.
Anytime a team with LOADS of money like a Texas Tech wants someone from LSU, they will get them.

Beth is a terrible coach but great recruiter. She is now developing talent for Texas Tech, OU, and Texas to go win with. We just gave up our season tickets after having them for several years…hope there is a change soon

Four or five of those players hardly ever played. They may have felt like they may never get considerable playing time. I don't know why three starting players left and hate to see those go because they contributed tremendously. We evidently have a talented freshman class coming in. Hopefully, some of those are ready to contribute immediately. An outfielder from Notre Dame is coming through the transfer portal. Her stats look very good. There may be more coming through the transfer portal.

Not defending BT how can you say she is a terrible coach and she develops talent for other programs to win with?

I do think she is a decent pitching coach and can develop players. For whatever reason she has become a very mediocre head coach.

Because they just repeat the same lines that they hear constantly repeated on the rant. Sometimes they put two of those talking points together, and they are too stupid to realize they contradict each other.

Need 3 or so starters, portal closed yesterday and several good players still out there..replace Edwards and Lassiter and that’s really it. Heavener will not be missed
