Baylee from Sam Houston was verbally committed to ULL. She switched to LSU in July.

great! good to see softball back in the news. It's hard to keep track of the signees as our links from months back led nowhere for me.

Wonder why Droppings is the only news for this as I don't recall headlines from the other sources.

Our softball signess must be close to top 5 in the nation based on what I've heard?

From the different websites and word on the street here is what I've been able to piece together. Sorry if the spelling of the names are incorrect. Also tried to put the positions but I'm sure they play other spots as well. Others chime in if they know of any. Think Beth is doing a great job!! Also heard tailgating at the Football game that softball got a big donation to build an indoor hitting facility.

LSU: 2013 Class: Sahvanna Jaquish(C)-CA, Kelsi Selman(P)-TX, Bailey Landry(OF)-LA, Baylle Cobello-LA. 2014 Class: Allie Walljasper(P)-CA, Taylor Lockwood(OF)-LA. 2015 Class: Amber Serrett(SS)-TX, Sydney Smith (P\1B)-MN

What's wrong with four-year old hitting cage that came with multi-million dollar stadium?

There is nothing "wrong" with it.

One of the reasons is due to weather. When it rains you can't use one of the cages due to the "window" cut outs, and this also makes it an outdoor facility vs an indoor. So if there is lightning, for instance, all activity has to be shut down.

Probably has nothing to do with other SEC programs building new/updating facilities.......
