re: How good can Jennings be next season?

I guess Cam wasn't bullshitting with that 50's football threat.

"I feel confident this coaching staff will get the train back on the right tracks quickly"

Was there an unannounced QB genius hired to the staff that would lead you to feel this way?

So after watching Jennings regress to what we saw in the Ark game, you think Harris should just sit around and keep fighting it out huh? Why? The kid said he knows everything that is required of him. He is the more talented player. Name one school where he would either a) not be the starter by this point or b) at least be given every chance to win the job with in game play?

You can be a fan of the team/school and still admit when things are headed south. I hope that they can get it turned around. I would love it if Jennings could get it figured out. That means LSU would win more games. That said, I doubt either of those happen anytime soon.

"if Brandon Harris leaves"

He absolutely should
With the way WR gloves are these days, catches of this ilk should happen weekly.
On topic, the Panny is one of the ugliest nicest cars in the world. Every time I pass one I think "that guy should have gotten an RS7"

Porsche SUV's are for chicks. Panny's are for people who are unaware that there are similar/better options for cheaper, at least IMO
I agree. Want to know why people drive jacked up trucks and fast cars? Cause it's fruckin fun that's why. It has nothing to do with a lack of anything, other than restraint in some moments!

For the price of a 911 Turbo S, there are other cars I would buy, for sure. That said, for the performance of a 911 Turbo S, there is nothing you can buy for that price, yet.

I do not "love Saban", and I am far from "dick hurt", especially about anything I do not control the outcome of. I am simply a fan who isn't a homer. My team isn't always the best. The refs don't cost us every game. The fix isn't in on LSU. LSU is one of the premier programs in the nation, without a doubt. The problem for us is Bama is THE premier program in the nation. Our guys continue to make critical mistakes in critical moments and it's showing with the loss of 4 straight to Gump U. LSU & Bama recruit the same caliber of talent year in and year out, but Saban is winning H2H vs Miles. He has more NT rings, one at Miles expense. As far as I can tell, that leaves one major thing: scheme/coaching

None of this is to imply CLM sucks, because that is far from true. LSU players imposed their will for most of the game, but when crunch time came, they choked. Something has to be done about this or the trend will continue.

If we beat Bama the next 2 years I will be the same fan I am today, but with bragging rights to a few friends. I will attend games when I can, watch every weekend and support the team & school. That said, 2 wins would still leave Saban with an edge in H2H & NT's. So I would still say he is the better coach & hope our staff could continue the hypothetical win streak you speak of.

I am not saying the LSU staff is bad. No one beats us consistently except Saban. I am simply saying, if they are the standard bearer, we are going to have a hard time surpassing them when we continue to do dumb shite in crunch time. Clock management and late game issues in close games have haunted Miles for years. It has to be fixed or the result will be the same. I do think the LSU D dominated. I think the run game was effective. If we could pass oh say, 30% better we win. You can say Cam is better than Lane, but Lane is up 1-0. Lane's QB came through in the clutch. Cam's made a bone head play. As for that INT, the WR was on the ground before Jennings had his feet set. He still threw it!
I didn't say we couldn't compete with them. We surely do. That said, it wasn't the ref's fault. No, Miles didn't kick or play coverage, but he shoulders the blame. I do not have a problem with him, or the "state of the program" but all the whining about ref's and Bama bias is dumb. That's like ACC folks whining about SEC bias. The SEC is the best, so we get the coverage. Bama is the best in the SEC so they get the most coverage, and maybe some breaks. Holds true for every top team in every sport. The passing game is terrible, absolutely terrible.

You can argue to make yourself feel better, but in the end, Bama won. They will be favorited again next year, and if the QB situation doesn't get straightened out soon, more teams will be as well.
Was it a BS call, sure. Yet the action never gets called. The reaction does. Our guys have to know in that situation, no matter what they do, you shut your trap and set up to run a play. The game is in hand! Yet in the final moments of a game, LSU failed to do the right thing. They absolutely gave the game away. I thought that should have been a PI call as well, but you don't get all the breaks. That's the way it goes.

I was in the stadium. LSU played a hell of a game, went punch for punch, but when crunch time came what happened? F***ed up the kick, then with 20 yds open to get a 1st down, Jennings tosses it up for grabs. It's terrible man, plain and simple. If we are using their current QB as an example, he just beat a true QB at LSU. With a moderate level of competent QB play, LSU wins that game easily. That is a testament to Les that the QB's continue to struggle, at least the "dual threat ones". I am not a Bama fan in an any way, but you if you can sit here and say that Miles is on the same level as Saban you're insane. Bama has won the last 4 almost all in the 4th quarter. That's luck? That's the refs? You sound like a Saints fan.
To all the guys who think buying power cars are midlife crisis, I would ask: Have you driven one? If you had the means to get one in your 20's or 30's you would right? So if you finally get the means to afford one in your late 30's, why wouldn't you?

I feel like all those "yeah he's going through a midlife crisis" people are simply jealous. Drive any high performance car for a few days, and you will start figuring out how to get one.

You can fight it, you can argue it, say what ever you like about them, but when it comes to doing the little things, they simply do them more often than LSU does. I feel like that is a direct relation to Saban. Miles is a great recruiter, and a great person by all accounts, but he will never consistently beat Saban, as Saban has done to him.

Oh they also do one big thing better than LSU, which is recruit QB's who can manage a game. Hell, they have been able to turn a RB into a better QB than LSU has recruited the last 2 years.

That's facts, like it or not.
As someone who has been to and spent a lot of time in many parts of this country, you sir are 100% wrong. South Louisiana and her people are a place unto themselves.
Possibly the freshman feel more of a bond with Harris? They are all teammates, but they have played against, or met in camps for years now. So there is more familiarity there. Not to mention they fact that he was 100x vs MSU and then reaffirmed it last night with the way he moved the ball. Jennings was literally boo'd off the field last night. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if Les starts him again...
Where do you get class rankings from?

I noticed you left the OF from Brusly off of this list. Any change to her status?

Any more you can shed on these recruits? How are they doing so far this year in HS ball?

What site for travel ball player/class rankings would you recommend then?
