Not a good track record as of last 10 years:
POS: Flott (19), Farrell (17), Alexander (12)
NEG: Taylor (20), Parrish (19), McCallum (19), Provens (18), Thomas (17) but he did play, Savage (16), Rivers (11)
TBD: Little (19), Goodwin (21)
POS: Flott (19), Farrell (17), Alexander (12)
NEG: Taylor (20), Parrish (19), McCallum (19), Provens (18), Thomas (17) but he did play, Savage (16), Rivers (11)
TBD: Little (19), Goodwin (21)

I think I get what u mean, but Alabama is far from trash. They are the college football gods, whether u like it it not… for now anyways..

Of course because we're always picking up scraps. Kwon Alexander was the last stud we pulled from there and he made a business decision to play in a 4-3 rather than a 3-4 at Bama. There's too many dirty hands in AL. Basically the whole SEC recruits it hard plus FSU. Need to own louisiana and stick to the i10 corridor from Houston to Jacksonville (I get that includes AL but we arent getting any studs from the mobile area) and then poach some kids from south Florida, Dallas, and Atlanta. That's a proven formula.

i’ve never once looked at this list of bama players and thought we finally stole a good one from that state
but the RB thinks otherwise whenever one commits
as much as i’d love to get some of their best players, it ain’t going to happen, even w/ a national championship in hand

At first I thought POS was “Piece of S—t” and was totally lost ??. But it’s “Played on Saturday’s”, I assume. But what’s the NEG? Now E’s Gone? (British accent)

Would like to see more mid west recruiting for OL prospects

Mostly agree, though Armoni Goodwin was top 100 kid, 5th overall RB will contribute. The Mobile area is actually pretty pro LSU. I think Goodwin from Trussville, football factory. We got pretty lucky, Bama didn’t press and Auburn going thru coaching change.

We've signed a bunch of guys Auburn & Alabama didnt even go after. We had no business signing some of those guys. We got lucky with Goodwin... If Gus didn't get fired, he would probably be at Auburn.
I knew Little, Provens, Parrish, and Savage wouldn't play a down here when we signed them.

Not sure if you’re trolling but I am pretty sure he means which players were a net positive or negative performer over their careers.

Not really. He tore up his knee his sr year in HS. Bama went cold on him. LSU honored their commitment.

Point taken but I’m hear to say Goodwin is not a scrub and will be a flat baller.

Neil Farrell is from Alabama. I'd say he's worked out well.

Uhmm, Kwon? Kwon Alexabder? That guy was a top notch talent who dominated at LSU and would have started for Bama regardless of fit.

An Alabama 5* is equivalent to a LA 3*, IMO.

What’s the latest on mcCallum? Last I’d heard they convinced him to walk back on.

It’s almost like there’s not a lot of top end football talent in Alabama
