Bump
Watch this post route. Not sure about the quality of the DB covering him but this is a good looking route and he shows good speed.
We can't lose this kid to TCU. Get him Canada!

Checked in at 5'11" 197 yesterday at Tech, up from 184 during baseball season. He's been back in the weight room and it shows. He will be at LSU Thursday. He will play at over 200 pounds this year. I guess he might actually grow into a change of pace/3rd down back.

Regular guy. Zero pay. I was in attendance yesterday because I was bored and Slade asked if I wanted to go.

Glad he has started to hit the camps.
His stock will rise tremendously over the next couple months before season begins.
Will be 4 star player and top 10 All-Purpose back unless he has a major injury.
I echo everyone else's opinion on TCU. West Monroe has some studs coming up, a must get in Bolden to begin that pipeline again.
Not saying it was every totally busted, but you catch my drift.

Man to think...with the departure of Guice he could be ready size wise to come in as a true freshman and see some PT. Long ways out I know but if he's really gonna be close to 200 by the end of summer. He could easily be 210-215 after another year lifting.

I really want Chris Curry and Slade Bolden to be the RBs in this class.

I watched him get on the scales and weigh 197 yesterday without lunch. After lunch, dinner, and a shower he likely weighs 200 right now.

What do you need me to explain? Do this tomorrow and you'll see what I'm talking about here. Wake up and weigh yourself after you piss. Take a shower and weigh again. If possible weigh after lunch. Weigh again after dinner. Weigh again right before you go to bed. I guarantee you will fluctuate more than 3 pounds.
I watched him step on the scales yesterday and he was 197. The poster I replied to said if he's close to 200 by the end of the summer. I was simply stating that he was probably 200 pounds by the time he went to bed last night. See what I'm saying?

Nice to have options. But IMO TCU would put him to better use and he'd probably have an earlier chance to play there as well. Always an interesting decision for kids who can go play in a system that better suits them or suit up for the local team who they probably have been fans of their whole lives.

We have a brand new system that hasn't been tested, so you don't actually know if your system is better suited for him or not.

I've talked to several coaches who saw LSU practice in the Spring. Every single one of them thinks he's a perfect fit with all of the motion and sweeps, either at slot or RB. Hope he has a great visit next week.

He ran 4.53 last summer. He hasn't been timed since. Guess we will find out Thursday.
