Completely agree with this. They are clearly buying most (if not all) of these portal guys, so Hugh best be prepared to establish a strong culture to keep all those egos in check.
And, frankly, I don’t believe for a second he will be able to do so. I’m looking forward to seeing the same situation in Auburn that we have been seeing in college station.
I don’t anticipate it taking long for the malcontents to start surfacing. Next thing, you know, freeze will catch some bad press, and we all know how he has traditionally handled public criticism (not well).
In fact, that’s generally a telltale sign that the end is near for him - no matter where he is.

Not intended to you personally just a general question, aren't we all doing this? I keep seeing all the accusations of buying this guy or buying that guy, what are we doing? Are we not paying the kids we get? Is it just that we are upset that our guys can't/won't pony up to match? Seems a little like a glass house. The days of excuses by fans regarding money exchanges should be aimed purely at our own not others. As with anything else, those that can, do.

Turner ended up in the backfield and/or on his backside way too often. Not Harvard level bad, but way too much.

It’s not 100% guaranteed that he would start over Martinez here. It’s probably the same for most SEC programs, Auburn included. If he wants to be a guaranteed starter his last season, it may not be at SMU, but he would likely have to go G5 or pick the perfect spot with a clear opening in the P5.
