O and his "California Dreaming", he never seemed to have realized that his "Swamp Man Schtick" was USC Trojan Mascot Stuff, and recruiting to Hollywood.

O does not realize that his bread and butter is in his home state, OR USED TO BE!

Why all this West Coast expenditure, spend the money in the neighborhood and with Florida being the furthest, O has no pull from California, well maybe with the Rosefinch Boyz.

No chance for LSU to land a Cali quarterback, but Bama can pull one from Hawaii.

Makes sense to me. But I'm drunk from watching the baseball game.

Deshaun Watson wasn't from S. Carolina. Neither QB at Bama is from there. Stidham isn't from Alabama. These states have QBs so why didn't they start the home state guy?

LSU needs the best QBs playing for them. These QBs already have a firm foundation in basic mechanics that translate into higher ratings. Can QBs be developed? Yes. But the amount of development needed usually sets him back from seeing the field over someone who is further ahead. From played year 1 which means he was already big enough and grounded enough in his mechanics to put himself in that position of being ready to play immediately.

Brennan's biggest issue is his weight and strength (physical, not arm). He is further along, but still needs to be physically ready. Narcisse is physically ready but needs more time under center and learning to protect the ball better in the pocket.

love the offer.

The only way to surely fail is to not try at all.

At a minimum, this keeps the brand fresh in the region.

And who knows in recruiting, we might be 3rd on list... but #1 and #2 get other commits.

There's no shame in being a 5*'s (or 4*'s) backup plan.
