DJ, Woodland & Finney Jr.

We look set. I’m more concerned about S & Edge.

I feel a lil better about our DB room than the OL room.

We need another good one. 2 good starters. The rest is talented but unproven. It will be hard to replace Delane from last year. Anding was a stud in high school and should be good, but might need a year to acclimate. Jackson looked solid in his limited pt.

If Raymond thinks we’re fine at corner we’re fine at corner. You said it yourself the rest of the room is talented who gives a shite if they’re unproven ? Play them and Develop then ! Cant always use the portal is a get out of jail free card if you have a deep young talented room play that young talent inexperienced players get better by playing .Theirs no stud corner even left at this point of the portal

This is not a typical year. It does feel like a "get out of jail free card" time. With the money we are spending, it is clear we are not looking for Lane to take a year or two to compete for a natty. He is aiming to do that now. I see another starter level CB as a good move.

Look at what we are doing at WR. CB is another spot where we want good options play by play. There are plenty of snaps to share at CB, especially considering we will have 3 on the field at the same time. We agree on developing young talent, but young talent can develop at CB with 10 plays per game until they earn more.

I feel like a kid in a candy shop with the money we are spending. I want the Delane kid at safety, another good CB, and 2 starter level Oline guys at this point. Also, the TE/fullback guy we stole from Oregon yesterday was a hefty level move. Sure is a good time to be a Tiger fan.
