Friends from SA say he is the real deal. His twitter said he did not commit to Oregon. Why would he be going back? Come to LSU and hear the roar of Death Valley on a Saturday night. Nothing like it in the world.

I'm not taking the sister at southern as a factor after we just got burned from a similar situation.

Real deal for SA yes. Played @ Warren & they basically destroyed everyone in the area. I'm not sure how good he is on a national stage. Listed @ 6'2 but that's pushing it but he is thick. They had some other studs on that D so he didn't just jump out to me.

we may have to use smaller fonts when putting his name on his jersey

watched his film some time ago and remembered thinking he was a poor mans JC Copeland. He has a higher ceiling as a DT IMO.

Who is the DT from St Augustine mentioned in the article, Courtney Garnett?
Texas’ 2014 class took a hit on Tuesday night when four-star San Antonio Warren defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao decommitted. But the Longhorns and new head coach Charlie Strong suffered an even bigger blow just a couple of hours later.
Four-star Saint Augustine (LA) defensive tackle Courtney Garnett also backed out of his pledge, leaving the Longhorns with Longview’s Zaycoven Henderson as the lone interior defensive lineman left in the class.
“It was the coaching change and not wanting to be in an environment where I wasn’t recruited by that staff,” Garnett told ESPN.com. “I don’t think I’d feel comfortable. Right now, there’s no communication with the new staff. I don’t know if they’ve called any of the current commits. It’s a long process, and I just want to make sure I’m comfortable wherever I go.”
When asked about Mack Brown resigning, Garnett said it didn’t affect him as long as defensive tackle Bo Davis was kept on staff. But Davis accepted a job with USC on Tuesday.
And it didn’t seem Garnett was all that excited about Texas hiring Strong. Moments after tweeting that he was no longer committed, Garnett retweeted this ESPN tweet:
Garnett is ranked as the No. 39 defensive tackle in the nation and No. 22 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana. He is now down to Oklahoma,Tennessee and USC.

This guy is pretty quick off the snap. Like what I see.

San Antonio never produces top athletes but this guy might be the exception. Also, sounds like his sister is currently enrolled at Southern

I think you're leaving out the part where Shaq was from New Jersey. Him dominating San Antonio high school basketball, doesn't make him a product of SA.

AT LSU he will go by LMFAO. With a laughing gesture after the sack!!
Posted on 1/9/14 at 6:13 pm to 8lue
Texas fans call him Trey LMFAO.
Posted on 1/9/14 at 6:17 pm to Dr. Morgus
He's quick and nasty. Reminds me of Copeland coming out. Has relentless hustle too.
Posted on 1/9/14 at 6:41 pm to Datbayoubengal
Yep, it's the size and motor that reminds us of Copeland. He is not nearly as fast as JC but like I said, believe him to have a higher ceiling at DT and he would probably stay there at that position.
